We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology (Resistant Materials) to join our thriving and forward-looking academy. About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. You will contribute to the continued development of a rigorous and inspiring curriculum that enables all students to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
*Is a passionate and reflective practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials / Product Design
*Has high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
*Is committed to delivering excellent teaching and raising student outcomes
*Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
*Is willing to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the academy
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
*Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
*Ensure the highest standards of health and safety within workshop environments
*Support enrichment, intervention, and extracurricular opportunities
