We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to join a manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing planning activities, managing inventory, purchasing materials, and ensuring effective capacity planning across the operation.
Key Responsibilities*Manage and oversee the MRP process
*Maintain planning parameters including lead times, ROP, ROQ, and safety stock
*Balance capacity and workload, identifying constraints and solutions
*Oversee purchasing of standard and long lead-time materials
*Optimise inventory levels and stock health
*Maintain ERP/MRP planning data accuracy
*Co-ordinate product and stock change management
*Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Requirements*Previous experience in a senior planning or supply chain role
*Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
*Manufacturing environment experience essential
*Strong understanding of capacity planning and inventory management
*Excellent analytical and organisational skills
