Full job descriptionPrivate Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive - Liverpool City CentreAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive to join an established and well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool City Centre.
This role would suit a motivated individual with a genuine interest in Private Client work, particularly trusts, probate, wills and estate planning. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment with strong opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression.
The RoleThe successful candidate will support solicitors within the Private Client department and assist with a varied caseload of matters including:
*Wills
*Probate
*Trusts
*Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Estate administration
Key responsibilities will include:
*Assisting with the day-to-day management of Private Client files
*Conducting legal research and preparing relevant documentation
*Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
*Drafting correspondence and legal documents
*Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
*Supporting administrative tasks relating to estate administration
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates should have:
*Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within Private Client law
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
*The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
Desirable Experience*Legal qualification or relevant Paralegal training
*Previous exposure to wills, probate, trusts or estate administration matters
