Description
*Preparing monthly management accounts.
*Reporting monthly accounts to the board.
*Work closely with the commercial team to allocate project costing, update and report monthly.
*Work closely with other departments using centralised financial data.
*Create scenarios, forecasts and models to help management make informed business decisions.
*Update weekly and monthly cash flows.
*Acting as a key finance member while also working closely with the MD & other departments.
*A commercially astute outlook whilst being able to maintain the finance function.
*Excellent time management and an ability to be able to hit strict deadlines each month for reporting purposes.
*Excellent people skills and be able to create good relationships with the
*whole business as well as the finance team.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
*Be a crucial cog between finance and all other departments to help present and report accurate information so the business can make informed decisions.
*Ensure weekly and monthly reporting deadlines are hit.
*Provide guidance to management and give constructive feedback from a financial perspective.
Profile
A successful Commercial Accountant should have:
