Location: Manchester
We’re working with a fast-growing business looking to hire a Supply Chain Assistant into their expanding operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to gain broad exposure across supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing the timely receipting of stock into internal systems across UK and US operations
*Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring alignment between internal systems and third-party logistics partners
*Coordinating inbound deliveries with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers
*Monitoring supplier production schedules and updating internal supply plans accordingly
*Communicating stock arrivals, delays, and supply updates to the wider business
*Supporting invoice checks and resolving supplier invoicing queries
*Maintaining supplier databases and internal cost files
*Producing weekly stock and supply chain reporting, highlighting risks and key changes
*Supporting the S&OP reporting cycle for senior leadership
*Raising purchase orders and proactively managing supplier delivery timelines
*Coordinating copacking requirements with third-party warehouse providers
*Supporting inventory planning and stock recommendations for marketplace channels including Amazon US
About You
*Previous experience within supply chain, logistics, operations, or a similar coordination role would be beneficial
*Naturally inquisitive with a continuous improvement mindset
*Strong attention to detail and able to see tasks through to completion
*Comfortable working with data and confident using Excel
*Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
*Organised, proactive, and adaptable within a fast-paced environment
