Full job descriptionCommercial & Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer - 3+ PQEAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Accredited Chartered Legal Executive to join a busy and supportive Commercial & Residential Property team.
This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property matters within a collaborative and dynamic working environment. The successful candidate will work with a broad client base including landlords, tenants, developers and investors, providing expert legal advice across a wide range of property transactions.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
*Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord & tenant matters
*Advising clients on all aspects of commercial and residential property law
*Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements and related legal documentation
*Conducting property due diligence and advising on property transactions
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates should have:
*A minimum of 3 years PQE within Commercial and Residential Property
*Experience handling a varied caseload including:*Property transactions
*Leases
*Landlord & Tenant matters
*Property disputes
*Strong working knowledge of property law and current market developments
*Experience using Case Management Systems, Laserforms and the Land Registry Portal (essential)
*Excellent communication and client care skills
*Strong negotiation and organisational abilities
*A proactive and commercially minded approach
*The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
*Experience managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Experience*Previous experience within a CQS accredited firm
*Experience using Infotrack
*Exposure to high-value property transactions or complex landlord & tenant matters
*Knowledge of planning, development or property finance matters
