Join a leading retailer and financial services provider specialising in second-hand goods, as a Branch Manager. This role is ideal for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals ready to lead and drive success in this clients’ Crawley store.
Day-to-day Duties of the role:
*Oversee the overall performance and daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
*Drive sales, motivate the team, and deliver exceptional customer service.
*Manage all aspects of branch operations including customer queries, complaints, stock control and buying activities.
*Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve high performance through effective recruitment, training, and management.
*Organise staff rotas, holidays, and ensure adequate branch coverage.
*Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for continuous business improvement.
*Take ownership of the branch’s commercial performance, demonstrating a strong commercial mindset.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience in retail and/or customer service.
*Proven track record of running a successful business unit with a solid understanding of profit and loss (P&L) and commercial performance.
*Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to grow sales and profitability.
*Ability to analyse and improve KPI performance.
*Excellent leadership and people management skills.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
*Stable employment history and a strong work ethic.
*A positive, proactive and results-driven attitude.
