About the Role: Customer Operations Specialist
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation that places customers at the heart of everything it does. As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day to day running of contact centre operations.
This is a fast moving and varied position where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. It offers a great chance to build valuable skills, gain industry experience, and make a meaningful contribution within a customer focused environment.
Although the role is initially temporary, it can provide a strong pathway into longer term career opportunities within the wider business.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Operations Specialist
*Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
*Managing escalated queries with professionalism, empathy, and good judgement
*Supporting vulnerable customers with patience and care
*Working closely with colleagues to achieve first contact resolution whenever possible
*Maintaining a customer focused approach while meeting operational objectives
*Ensuring all customer interactions remain compliant with regulatory and internal standards
About You: Customer Operations Specialist
You will be well suited to this role if you:
*Have experience within a fast paced, customer service environment (financial services experience is beneficial but not essential)
*Remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
*Are adaptable and willing to support different areas when required
*Communicate confidently and effectively with both customers and colleagues
*Enjoy working within a collaborative team environment
*Are passionate about delivering positive customer outcomes and high quality service
Compliance & Professional Standards: Customer Operations Specialist
The role requires adherence to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including:
*FCA regulations
*Data Protection requirements
*Anti Money Laundering policies
*Internal codes of conduct and operational procedures
*Anti Bribery and Corruption policies
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
