Full job descriptionWe are currently supporting a growing business based in Accrington (hybrid working) in their search for a temporary Finance Assistant to support the finance team with a backlog of billing and invoicing work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts administration experience to join a fast-paced environment and provide immediate support during a busy period. The role will involve a high volume of billing activity and would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented and confident working to deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
*Assisting with a backlog of billing and invoicing tasks.
*Processing invoices and ensuring billing information is accurate and up to date.
*Supporting reconciliation and general finance administration activities.
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries with internal stakeholders.
Key requirements:
*Previous experience within a finance, billing or accounts administration role.
*Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
*Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.
*Confident Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
