This organisation is part of a globally recognised scientific research group, operating across multiple specialist facilities and supporting cutting-edge research projects. Due to continued investment and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their Estates and Facilities team.

In this role, you will support the maintenance and upkeep of mechanical systems across the site. Initially, you will carry out general maintenance duties, inspections, and minor repairs, before progressing into planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems, pumps, pipework, plant equipment, and associated building services infrastructure. You will also gain exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the site.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical maintenance background and hold a recognised mechanical qualification such as an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Experience within facilities maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, plant, building services, or commercial environments would all be considered. Candidates who are keen to develop and broaden their technical skillset are encouraged to apply.
