Location: Covering South & South West
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum + Company vehicle + Bonus
Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hour working week.
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of the UK’s largest manufacturer of medical & scientific refrigeration. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well established company with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, UKAS calibration, and repair of medical refrigeration equipment, including: Pharmacy fridges and freezers, Blood fridges, Plasma freezers, Monitoring systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical and laboratory refrigeration equipment.
*Work independently and efficiently while representing the company professionally.
*Accurately record work completed, travel and labour times, and expenses, submitting job reports daily.
*Maintain company-provided van, tools, stock levels, and equipment in line with company policy.
*Plan and prioritise work based on office scheduling, raising any potential delays early.
*Ensure confidentiality on all customer sites, following GDPR principles.
Skills and Qualifications:
*The ideal candidate should be based in Yorkshire, to predominantly cover Yorkshire and the Northeast area (M1, M62 corridor)
*Full UK driving licence – essential.
*Self-motivated, well organised, and able to work independently.
*Previous field service experience desirable (but not essential).
*F-Gas qualification desirable (but not essential).
*Strong communication skills with neat and accurate handwriting.
*Basic English, Maths and IT skills are required.
