Full job descriptionLevel 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Supply BasisSheffield & Surrounding AreasTradewind Recruitment are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible supply basis across a trusted network of schools in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for flexible work to suit their lifestyle.
The RoleAs a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work across a variety of primary and secondary settings supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs including:
*Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
*ADHD
*Speech & Language Needs
*SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
*Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small intervention groups, or assisting the wider classroom environment.
What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who:
*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
*Have previous experience supporting children with SEN
*Are adaptable, patient, and proactive
*Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Can travel across Sheffield and surrounding areas
*Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
