We are seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our construction team in Swindon. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including first and second fix carpentry, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Your new role
*Carry out first and second fix carpentry tasks, including fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, and frameworks.
*Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
*Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.
*Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
*Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
*Maintain a clean and organised work area.
*Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience as a carpenter in construction.
*Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
*Own tools and PPE (essential).
*Valid CSCS card (preferred).
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
