Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in various school settings.
*Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt activities to meet students’ needs.
*Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
*Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to enhance educational and behavioral outcomes.
*Utilize strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience with SEN or transferable skills from care, coaching, or youth work.
*Confident, resilient, and proactive approach to challenges.
*Strong behavior management skills and the ability to effectively support students.
*Passion for supporting and engaging young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
