The school supports learners with a wide range of needs, including profound and severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism, medical and communication needs. The school is well resourced and staffed by a committed multidisciplinary team, including specialist teaching assistants, therapists and support professionals.
The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to pupils with complex needs
*Plan and assess learning in line with EHCP outcomes
*Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
*Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
*Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports
*Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from experienced SEND teachers and teachers with a strong interest in specialist education.
You will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Have experience or a genuine passion for working with pupils with profound, severe and complex needs
*Be patient, resilient and flexible in your approach
*Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
*Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
