Your new role
As our European Financial Lines Underwriter, you’ll be instrumental in driving profitable growth across the region. You’ll work closely with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to underwrite complex financial lines risks - from D&O and PI to cyber and transactional liability - while helping to expand our footprint and refine our proposition.
Your responsibilities will be to Underwrite complex and profitable financial line risks across European markets, develop and grow broker relationships to generate new business opportunities and collaborate with leadership to shape underwriting strategy and product development. You will analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas and ensure underwriting discipline and compliance with regulatory standards. You will also represent the MGA at industry events and broker meetings across Europe.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have proven experience underwriting financial lines risks in European markets, strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing profitable portfolios. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess complex risks and craft tailored solutions as well as have excellent broker relationship management skills. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and innovate.
