The Role
As the Payroll Executive, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
*Payroll processing for weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
*Auto-enrolment and pension submissions
*RTI submissions to HMRC
*Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)
*Managing client queries and providing friendly, professional support
*Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with UK legislation


About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and personality to the team:
*Experience in bureau payroll or practice-based payroll
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
*Confident using payroll software (BrightPay, Sage, Iris or similar)
*Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
