We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and supportive Mathematics department at our school in Sevenoaks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons and inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning in the subject. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The RoleThe successful applicant will:
*Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates
*Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons
*Assess, monitor, and support student progress to achieve excellent outcomes
*Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Participate fully in the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
*Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
*The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
