Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you have the patience, empathy, and dedication to help every child reach their full potential? We are looking for a committed and compassionate individual to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Global Developmental Delay (GDD) within a supportive school environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with GDD.
*Adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of the child.
*Support the emotional, social, and academic development of the child.
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and coordinate efforts.
*Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working with children with additional needs or SEND is preferred but not essential.
*A patient, caring, and resilient approach to challenging situations.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and parents.
*Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
*A genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of children.
