SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to be recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic KS2 Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) within a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets.
Located just a short walk from Mile End station, this school is exceptionally well connected via the Central, District, and Hammersmith & City lines, making it an ideal location for candidates travelling from across London.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a well-supported specialist provision, helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and socially in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As a KS2 ARP Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support pupils with a range of complex SEND needs, including autism and communication difficulties
*Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff
*Deliver targeted support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
*Help pupils develop communication, independence, and social skills
*Assist in creating a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment
*Support personal care where required in a sensitive and professional manner
This role would suit someone patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within an ARP or specialist setting
*Be confident supporting pupils with complex learning and communication needs
*Have a calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
*Be comfortable supporting personal care where necessary
*Work well as part of a collaborative team
*Be committed to making a positive difference every day
