A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Head of Geography to lead a successful Humanities faculty area within a vibrant secondary school in Slough.
We are looking for a passionate geographer who can inspire curiosity about the world, foster critical thinking, and lead the department to continued excellence.
What you’ll do:
*Lead and strategically develop the Geography curriculum across KS3–KS5
*Support and mentor departmental staff to deliver high-quality teaching
*Drive student achievement and progress through innovative practice
*Enrich the curriculum with fieldwork and wider learning experiences
What we’re looking for:
*A strong subject specialist with a passion for Geography
*Leadership skills or the ambition to step into a middle leadership role
*High expectations for student progress and achievement
*A commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching
