The Role:

As a Senior Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import shipments mainly by sea but some air. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo
Your responsibilities will also include;
*Negotiating and booking cargo with carriers.
*Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
*Ensuring cargo is Customs cleared using CDS
*Arranging delivery and managing all the way to final destination.
Essential Criteria:
*Import experience
*Commercially minded
*Excellent communication

Salary & Benefits:

For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £30-38k for the right person along with benefits, company bonus & free parking. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm
