Full job descriptionA1 Personnel are currently recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Tilbury.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Supervise and lead warehouse staff.
*Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
*Ensure efficient use of warehouse space.
*Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
*Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods.
*Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipments.
*Implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and condition of products.
*Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to track inventory and streamline operations.
*Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
*Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to warehouse operations.
*Maintain clear communication with warehouse staff and other departments.
*Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners
Requirements:
*Strong leadership and organizational skills
*Attention to detail
*The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Effective communication and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this role.
*WMS systems
*FLT License
*Previous experience in the industry is required
