Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in North London to recruit a passionate Teacher of English. The school has a strong focus on academic achievement, literacy development, and creating an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
Your new role
You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level English depending on experience. You will deliver engaging and structured lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing, while supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3-KS4 essential)
*Strong subject knowledge across literature and language
*Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
*Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
