Full job descriptionThe OpportunityWorking closely with HR Managers and business leaders, the HR Adviser will provide trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while contributing to projects that shape the firm’s people strategy, culture, and performance. This is a varied role where no two days are the same - ideal for someone who thrives on both operational detail and strategic contribution.
Key Responsibilities*Provide professional advice across a range of HR and employee relations matters.
*Support managers with performance management, absence, and employee development.
*Manage end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, probation, and flexible working.
*Lead on key HR cycles such as appraisals, salary reviews, and exit interviews.
*Support firm-wide initiatives on inclusion, wellbeing, and change management.
*Partner with global teams on mobility, immigration, and secondments.
*Line manage and develop an HR Assistant, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
About YouThe ideal candidate will bring:
*Proven experience in an HR Advisory or Senior HR Assistant role, ideally within professional services.
*Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law fundamentals.
*Experience handling ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
*Confidence to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
*A proactive and pragmatic approach, with strong commercial awareness.
