Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced Supply Lead Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing and developing business.
Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Planner
*Own the end-to-end supply, production and material planning process
*Ensure all plans meet customer demand while balancing inventory and lead times.
*Optimise stock levels, reorder points and replenishment strategies.
*Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability and support supplier performance analysis.
*Working closely with all inhouse teams
*Communicate planning changes, risks and mitigation actions clearly.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
*Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles.
*Minimum of 3 years supply chain planning experience
*Proficiency with ERP/ MRP systems.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
*Problem solving mindset with ability to work under pressure.
The Supply Chain Planner role:
*Based in Alton (however occasional travel to the Isle of Wight will be required)
*Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm
*£32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
*20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
