Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - South BirminghamAre you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary setting in South Birmingham. This role is for the full academic year.
The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties)
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will:
*Have experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)
*Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
*Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
*Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
