Job Description:
Full job descriptionA well-established household name in consumer products is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join its growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting month-end processes, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting the Management Accountant & Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Assisting with accruals and prepayments
*Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
*Assisting with VAT returns and compliance processes
*Supporting lender reporting requirements
*Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
*Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
*Supporting general office and administrative duties where required
About You
*Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
*Understanding of month-end processes
*Strong Excel skills
*ERP system exposure would be advantageous
*Organised with good attention to detail
*Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
*Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
