£460-£500 per week




As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be a key source of support for pupils who require emotional guidance and behavioural consistency to succeed in school. Many of the children you’ll work with may face challenges such as:
*Emotional regulation and anxiety
*Behavioural and attachment-related needs
*Low confidence and self-belief
*Difficulties with social interaction and communication
*Trauma-informed needs
*You’ll support pupils both one-to-one and in small groups, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to engage with learning.


Key Responsibilities
*Supporting pupils throughout the school day to access learning
*Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*Helping pupils develop coping strategies and resilience
*Encouraging positive interactions with peers and staff
*Working closely with teachers, SEN teams, and pastoral staff
*Contributing to a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment


Who We’re Looking For
*A patient, empathetic, and dependable individual
*Someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people
*Confident in building trusting relationships
*Able to stay composed in challenging situations
*A team player with good communication skills
*Previous SEMH or SEND experience is helpful but not essential
*A willingness to learn and develop within education and training
