Berkshire | 5 Month Contract Initially | £18.00 per hour
An NHS organisation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of estates and capital projects across its healthcare estate.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience across refurbishment, backlog maintenance, and minor works programmes within a complex, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Support delivery of estates projects across the full lifecycle (RIBA stages 0–7)
*Assist with planning, coordination, and day-to-day project management activities
*Prepare and maintain project documentation (programmes, risk logs, reports)
*Coordinate meetings, stakeholders, and communications across clinical and operational teams
*Support business case development and budget monitoring
*Assist with procurement, contractor coordination, and project handover
Key Requirements
*Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field
*Exposure to project management within estates, construction, or healthcare environments
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Understanding of project governance, budgets, and reporting
Desirable
*Experience within the NHS or public sector
*Knowledge of estates, facilities or capital projects
*Project management training or qualifications
