Full job descriptionAspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team.
The school is looking for someone with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum who can confidently support pupils across the classroom, deliver interventions, and help raise attainment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys making a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
The Role:
* Supporting the class teacher across the school day
* Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention sessions
* Supporting pupils across core subjects including Maths, English, and Phonics
* Helping children stay engaged and focused during lessons
* Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
* Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Have recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Have a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
* Be confident delivering intervention sessions
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Be nurturing, proactive, and reliable
