Description
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry into accounting systems.
*Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Monitor budgets and provide insights on variances or discrepancies.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audits.
*Support the finance team with reconciliations and cost analyses.
*Provide financial advice and guidance to other departments as required.
*Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance function assisting with reconciliations, journals and balance sheet reviews
*Preparing and analysing financial data and reports
*Supporting budget setting and annual charge reviews
*Working with large data sets using Excel
*Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
*Supporting compliance and audit requirements
*Liaising with wider operational and finance teams across the business
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting


Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
*Happy to consider PQ and QBE candidates.
*Experience working in the Housing sector.
*Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial systems.
*The ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in preparing financial reports and handling budgets.
