This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Finance Directorate supporting a major finance systems transformation that underpins frontline operations.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to play a key role in the ongoing administration, development and support of LFB’s SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba procurement systems.
Working closely with the Finance Systems Manager, you will support stakeholders across the organisation, lead on SAP Ariba administration and training, and help ensure finance systems operate effectively, efficiently and with strong controls.
This is a hands-on role with significant exposure across the business, offering the chance to influence system improvements and user experience.
Location: Southwark (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £46,941 – £56,071 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Finance Systems Administration
*Manage and support the Brigade’s SAP Ariba Guided Buying and Buying systems
*Perform system administration tasks including configuration, template management and master data maintenance
*Lead SAP Ariba release cycles, including user testing, training and documentation updates
*Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
User Support and Training
*Provide first-line support for user queries and system tickets
*Deliver training to users across all levels on SAP Ariba and finance systems
*Run user groups and feedback sessions to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
*Work closely with Procurement, ICT and external partners to resolve issues effectively
Process Improvement and Reporting
*Develop and maintain reports within SAP Ariba to support business needs
*Support the design and rollout of standard reporting suites following SAP implementation
*Maintain process documentation and user guides to ensure system understanding
*Identify and lead process improvement initiatives, working with cross-functional teams
Team and Operational Support
*Support the Finance Systems Manager in day-to-day team coordination
*Contribute to team development, cross-training and knowledge sharing
*Deputise for the Finance Systems Manager where required
What We’re Looking For
*Strong knowledge of end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) processes
*Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba (public cloud experience highly desirable)
*Proven background in finance systems administration and user support within a large organisation
*Experience delivering training and user support on procurement or finance systems
*Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across all levels
*Good organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
