Location: EH12
Hours: Mon-Fri - 8 hours shift between 11:00 - 23:00
Salary: £13ph
Contract Type: Temporary but could go Permanent
Essential: Clean PVG from Disclosure Scotland
About Us:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated premises team and help maintain the exceptional standards of cleanliness our students, staff, and visitors expect.
The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring that your allocated areas (classrooms, communal spaces, and washrooms) are kept clean, hygienic, and welcoming.
Key Duties:
*General Cleaning: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
*Sanitisation: Thorough cleaning of washrooms and touchpoint surfaces.
*Waste Management: Emptying bins and ensuring areas are tidy.
*Safety & Compliance: Reporting maintenance issues and safely using cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines.
What We Are Looking For:
*Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred.
*High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
*Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
*A friendly, professional manner and a clear understanding of the importance of school safeguarding.
