London | Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office) | £30,000 + Excellent Benefits
A leading organisation within the UK’s arts and culture sector is looking for a Finance Officer to join its team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to build experience within a highly respected and creative environment. Supporting the processing of payments for productions, this role offers exposure to specialist finance operations while also providing broader month-end and transactional finance experience.
What you’ll do
*Support payment runs, ensuring payments are accurate and made on time
*Resolve payment queries and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders
*Maintain payment schedules, databases and shared inbox management
*Assist with invoice processing, supplier amendments and ledger postings
*Support month-end processes including expense and credit card reconciliations
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Person Specification
*A genuine interest in the arts and theatre sector is essential
*Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach
*Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
*Previous finance or administrative experience would be beneficial
