Senior Electrical Supervisor - Contract Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term contract delivering maintenance and compliance services across multiple government sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to work on a mobile basis, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring high standards of delivery.
Key Job Details
*Job Title: Senior Electrical Supervisor
*Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Umbrella)
*Contract Length: 6 months initial (ongoing potential)
*Start Date: Immediate
*Location: Mobile (MOJ & Home Office sites) - Cambridge or Kent
*Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Senior Electrical Supervisor Responsibilities
*Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
*Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems and plant
*Supervise and support electrical teams across multiple sites
*Install and commission electrical plant and equipment
*Ensure all works meet industry standards and compliance requirements
*Maintain asset records and provide condition updates
*Liaise with engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery
*Identify additional works and prepare cost estimates
Compliance & Supervisory Duties
*Perform quality audits (QS duties) on both in-house and subcontractor works
*Ensure all electrical installations comply with current regulations
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this Senior Electrical Supervisor role, you must have:
*ECS Gold Card (Essential)
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
*AM1 & AM2 qualifications
*2391 Test & Inspection certification
*5-10+ years’ electrical experience
Desirable Qualifications
*NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) experience
*Authorised Person (Low Voltage)
