About the SchoolThis is an English-medium, non-denominational mixed primary school maintained by Cardiff Council. The school is a two-form entry setting and also has a dedicated ASD base, providing additional support for pupils with autism.
About the RoleWe are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class. You will work closely alongside the class teacher, assisting with a range of classroom and educational activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils with learning activities such as 1:1 reading, spelling, and subject-specific tasks
*Providing general classroom assistance
*Supporting behaviour management within the class
*Assisting with lunchtime supervision
*Supporting outdoor learning sessions and PE lessons
*Accompanying pupils on school trips
*Engaging in training and development opportunities where available
This is a full academic year position starting in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
