Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a large, values-led organisation on a 3-month temporary contract, with strong potential to become permanent based In the Birmingham City area.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role Include:*Support month-end and year-end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations)
*Prepare management accounts with the Management Accountant
*Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations
*Assist with statutory accounts and audits
*Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance (SORP)
*Line manage and support Finance Assistants
*Partner with stakeholders across the organisation
To be considered for the Financial Accountant Role you must be:
*Fully or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ACA)
*Strong financial accounting experience in a complex organisation
*Confident with Excel and finance systems (ERP desirable)
*Detail-focused with strong organisational and stakeholder skills
