Full job descriptionWe are working with a leading pensions organisation seeking a Senior Client Relations Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) employer engagement, retention, and relationship management across a portfolio of sponsoring employers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pensions professional to take ownership of key client relationships, drive retention and growth within CDC arrangements, and support the development of a growing pension proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage relationships with existing DB and DC employers exploring or participating in CDC arrangements
*Develop and deliver CDC employer engagement and retention strategies
*Support the conversion of prospective employers into CDC arrangements
*Manage a portfolio of key pension scheme clients and act as main point of contact
*Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality CDC service proposition
*Support new business opportunities, including presentations and client engagement meetings
*Identify opportunities for growth, cross-selling, and additional revenue across the client base
*Act as a subject matter expert on CDC pensions for clients and internal teams
*Manage and monitor client relationships, pipeline activity, and retention risks
*Ensure all client activity meets regulatory, governance, and compliance standards
*Contribute to continuous improvement of client service delivery and communications
Experience & Skills Required:
*Proven experience in pensions client relationship management, consultancy, or trust-based pension schemes
*Strong understanding of DB, DC, and CDC pension arrangements
*Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholder relationships
*Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
*Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively
*Proactive, commercially aware, and self-motivated approach
