Full job descriptionSEN Teacher - Chelmsford - Start Date ASAPProspero Teaching are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist or mainstream setting in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing.
The school is looking for an adaptable, empathetic teacher with strong behaviour management, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Chelmsford
*Position - SEN Teacher
*Type of work - Teaching & SEN support
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Minimum rate of pay - £150-£220 per day
*Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
*Experience working with pupils with SEN (ASC, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or complex needs)
*Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
*Experience using strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
