Full job descriptionChildcare Officer - Chelmsford - Start Date ASAPProspero Teaching are seeking a committed Childcare Officer to join a warm, supportive setting in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional-or someone early in their career with strong potential-to support children’s wellbeing, development, and daily care routines in a nurturing environment.
The school is looking for a compassionate practitioner with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.


CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Chelmsford

*Position - Childcare Officer

*Type of work - Childcare & pupil support

*Start date - ASAP

*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

*Full time/part-time - Full time

*Minimum rate of pay - £115-£150 per day (depending on experience)



EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

*Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting

*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

*Strong understanding of child development and wellbeing



TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK

*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

*Provide two professional child-related references
