A small but well-established and highly regarded high street firm in Rugeley is seeking an experienced Will Writer / Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week).
This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys client-facing private client work within a professional yet personable environment and who is confident managing their own caseload independently.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload including:
*Wills
*Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
*General private client matters
*Conducting client meetings and taking instructions
*Drafting and progressing files from instruction through to completion
*Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
*Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
The Ideal Candidate
The firm is looking for someone who:
*Has previous experience managing their own caseload of Wills and LPAs
*Is capable of working independently with minimal supervision
*Possesses strong client care and communication skills
*Is organised, efficient, and detail-oriented
*Enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team
*Has experience within a solicitors’ practice or professional will writing environment
A legal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant practical experience.
