About the Role: A prestigious Top 10 accounting firm based in Central London is seeking an experienced and dynamic External Audit Assistant Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
*Leading audit engagements from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of UK and international clients.
*Ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with IFRS standards.
*Managing and mentoring audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
*Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for client queries.
*Reviewing audit work papers and ensuring that audit files are completed to a high standard.
*Assisting in business development activities, including proposals and presentations to potential clients.
*Keeping up to date with changes in auditing standards and regulations, and ensuring the audit team is informed and trained on these changes.
Key Requirements:
*Proven experience in an audit role, with a significant portion of this experience focused on IFRS.
*Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
*Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
*Excellent leadership and team management skills.
*Ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members.
*High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Experience working with international clients is highly desirable.
