Location - Whiteley (Hybrid)
Salary - £27,850 per year
We are looking for a Payroll Delivery Co-Ordinator to join the team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of contractor payrolls.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and confident working to deadlines in a fast-paced payroll environment, with regular interaction across the business and with external contractors.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting weekly payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and handling payroll-related queries, ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
*Process weekly contractor payrolls (PAYE, CIS, deemed payrolls)
*Maintain accurate payroll records and systems
*Respond to payroll queries via phone and email
*Ensure compliance with payroll policies and HMRC requirements
*Process ad-hoc payments outside of payroll (e.g. VAT or faster payments)
*Support the team in meeting deadlines and maintaining data accuracy
About You
*Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
*IT literate with good keyboard skills
*Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential data
Desirable:
*Previous payroll experience
*Excel skills
