Description
*Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
*Maintain up-to-date records of employee payments and deductions.
*Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and standards.
*Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Coordinate with the HR team to update employee records as required.
*Support end-of-year payroll procedures and documentation.
*Contribute to process improvements within payroll systems and operations.
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
*Experience running payroll and sending payslips.
*Prepare and upload payroll journals
*Produce monthly reconciliations of payroll
*Produce monthly analysis if payroll variances
*Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
*Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with employees and stakeholders.
*Knowledge of Teacher’s pension scheme advantageous
