Key responsibilities include:
*Develop and deliver procurement strategy, policies, and processes.
*Lead and develop the procurement team.
*Define and execute sourcing and category strategies, including tenders and supplier negotiations.
*Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and margin improvements.
*Partner cross-functionally to influence decisions and improve performance through data, insights, and continuous improvement.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
*Strong experience within direct FMCG procurement, ideally ingredient or commodity categories.
*Proven ability to develop and deliver sourcing strategies, run tenders, and achieve cost savings.
*Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
*Proactive, hands-on team player, able to manage multiple priorities and operate both strategically and in detail.
