*Confident working cross-functionally with product, marketing, operations and finance teams
*Experience developing range architecture and guiding product direction
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to set direction and empower teams
*Highly analytical with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights

*Experience using AI or automation tools to enhance forecasting and reporting
*Background in direct-to-consumer or lifestyle brands
So, what will you be doing?
*Building and leading long-term merchandising strategy across all product categories
*Partnering with cross-functional teams to align commercial objectives with brand direction
*Shaping collections by defining range structure, depth and product balance
*Leading demand forecasting, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risk
*Owning the Open-to-Buy process and managing financial planning alongside finance teams
*Using trading performance and customer insight to refine and strengthen product ranges
*Delivering weekly trade packs with clear actions on performance, availability and risk
*Leading trading meetings, ensuring focus on key priorities and actionable outcomes
*Implementing tools and processes to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency
*Ensuring product decisions support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives
*Collaborating with marketing to align launches with stock availability and campaign priorities
*Setting the direction for the merchandising team, enabling effective execution of day-to-day operations
