Job Description:
Our Client, Bolton Council, is seeking an Adult’s Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team.
This is a Hybrid Working Role!

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and supervise safeguarding staff
*Oversee and quality assure Section 42 enquiries
*Make decisions on risk, thresholds, and protection plans
*Manage complex/high-risk cases (abuse, self-neglect, domestic abuse)
*Work with multi-agency partners (police, NHS, providers)
*Ensure compliance with Care Act, MCA, and safeguarding policies
*Monitor performance, caseloads, and practice standards
*Handle escalations, complaints, and serious incidents
*Support staff development and training
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
