Are you an experienced Finance Analyst looking for a new hybrid finance job in Walsall?

We’re recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced Operations Finance team within a well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, reporting experience, and a passion for process improvement and automation.

This Finance Analyst role offers genuine career progression, exposure to commercial finance, and the opportunity to work closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders across the business.

The business is looking for someone proactive, inquisitive, and confident challenging processes to improve reporting, efficiency, and financial insight.

Finance Analyst – Key Responsibilities
*Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
*Produce variance analysis and commercial finance insight
*Support month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls
*Build and improve Excel models, reporting packs, and dashboards
*Analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities
*Simplify and automate finance reporting processes
*Support Finance Business Partners with operational and commercial analysis
*Improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity
Finance Analyst – Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience within a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance Analyst, or Financial Analyst role
*Strong Excel skills including:
*Pivot Tables
*VLOOKUPs
*Formulas
*Large data analysis
*Reporting packs
*Experience with financial reporting and analysis
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Experience working within a fast-paced finance environment
*Process improvement or automation experience highly desirable
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
*Alteryx
*Sigma
*Power Query
*Power BI
*Financial modelling
*Reporting automation tools
