Job Description:
Full job descriptionA highly regarded specialist architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join its growing team in the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of bespoke residential projects within a niche and rewarding sector. The practice operates nationally and has developed a strong reputation for delivering tailored design solutions on technically challenging schemes.
The successful candidate will become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team, working across a range of residential adaptation, refurbishment and new-build projects.
The Role
*Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion
*Oversee project quality and technical delivery
*Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
*Support and mentor junior team members
*Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
*Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and specifications
*Attend site visits and client meetings nationally as required
Requirements
*Qualified Architect with significant post-Part III experience
*Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
*Strong residential design and technical detailing ability
*Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
*Knowledge of accessible design principles advantageous
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills
*AutoCAD experience essential
*NBS specification knowledge beneficial
*Contract administration experience advantageous
